Competition in the realm Ultrabook seems to be getting tougher. Nevertheless, it is not lit Toshiba intention to remain in the competition.
Through his press release, Toshiba announced the Portege Z930 which is the generation Series Z of their Ultrabook products.
With 1.12kg light weight, this series is the lightest 13.3-inch sized Ultrabook in the world today.
Ultrabook Toshiba claimed to combine the ease of use and performance of a laptop with the dexterity of a tablet. Although the thickness of only 15.9mm, this Ultrabook magnesium chassis that has a thin but strong and has a battery life of up to eight hours.
To support the performance, Toshiba entrust Intel Core i5 and i7 generation-3 (Ivy Bridge) as a primary weapon. In addition, the Portege Z930 is also equipped with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM.
Some advanced features that commonly arise in ultrabook products are also provided, such as the SSD up to 256GB, HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, and keyboard Matt A4 tile backlit.

Portege Z930 has the features of Toshiba's Eco Utility software to conserve power so that its use can optimize the power consumption of laptop with ease. Portege Z930 also qualify for Energy Star 5.0.
Toshiba explained, Portege Z930 will be available to the market in the second quarter of 2012. Unfortunately, they did not mention the exact date and at what price tag. To be sure, this product comes with International Limited Warranty (parts and workmanship) for 3 years.
